Current Initiatives & Resources

U.S. Chamber of Commerce
The fundamental activity of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is to develop and implement policy on major issues affecting business. Key to this effort is the work of committees, subcommittees, task forces, and councils involving more than 2,000 representatives of member corporations, organizations, and the academic community who serve voluntarily. In almost every instance, significant policy and public issue positions originate with one of these Chamber components.

Consolidated Appropriation Act (CAA) – Employee Retention Tax Credit.  Several significant changes have occurred within the laws concerning employee retention credits. Be sure to consult your tax professional and payroll processor.

CalChamber
The California Chamber of Commerce is the largest broad-based business advocate to government in California, working at the state and federal levels for policies to strengthen California.

SB-314: Outdoor Dining + Drinking.  Here to stay?  Keep an eye on this.  The Chamber supports the outdoor parklet program and is working closely with the stakeholders and the City of Healdsburg on this matter.
