Our weekly summer concerts in the Healdsburg Plaza from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. provide an eclectic and unique line-up of bands, and have been assembled to please a wide array of musical interests. Food vendors will be on-hand to offer locally sourced food for sale starting at 5:00 p.m. with the music beginning at 6:00 p.m. About the band: La Luz Roja de Beto Campillo is a tropical cumbia group founded in 1970 in the state of Guerrero, Mexico. In 1985, Lucho Campillo and Aniceto Molina joined the group to contribute with their compositions and enrich the musical style. At the present time, these great music legends are no longer in this world, Beto Campillo remains in charge of the group, maintaining and respecting the same flavor and rhythm of so many hits recorded in an endless number of albums that were very well accepted at an international level. Among some of the hits to mention are: Cumbia Sampuesana Gallo mojado La gorra La media arepa La Brujita La Mariscada and many more hits. Tuesdays in the Plaza is hosted by the City of Healdsburg Community Services. A very special thank you to Corazón Healdsburg and Barbara & Howard Wollner for their generous sponsorship.
