Step into the world through the lens of Andy Katz, one of today’s most celebrated photographers and a recent Healdsburg local. Inspired early by a book of Yousuf Karsh’s portraits, Andy created a body of work so compelling that Karsh himself became a collector. Since then, he has traveled to more than 90 countries, capturing breathtaking landscapes, cultural moments, and timeless stories. His passion lies in the world’s great wine regions – Sonoma, Napa, Bordeaux, Burgundy, Oregon, and Argentina – where his photographs reveal both the grandeur of the land and the soul of its winemakers. With rare insider access, Andy’s visual narratives weave artistry, history, and intimacy into every frame. As Sony’s first Artisan of Imagery, Andy’s work has been featured in museums, galleries, and at his own Aperture Cellars Winery in Healdsburg. His 14 acclaimed books, soon to be joined by America the Beautiful, celebrate the majesty of landscapes from Bordeaux’s vineyards to the rugged American West. Through his lens, Andy Katz captures more than just places – he captures passion, craft, and the timeless beauty of life. Join us to meet the artist, hear the stories behind his work, and explore his books and photographs – all while enjoying a great glass of wine and zesty appetizers from a local favorite. Let’s celebrate Andy, admire stunning art, and give him a warm Healdsburg welcome.
