HEALDSBURG GARDENS
The Russian River Rose Company - This family-run nursery got its start in 1990 when their chief collector Jan Tolmasoff took cuttings from a feral rose which now covers the coastal headlands surrounding the village of Mendocino, California. Healdsburg Garden Club - The Healdsburg Garden Club is a volunteer organization that meets on the third Monday of each month, September thru June, at the Villa Chanticleer Annex, 860 Chanticleer Way.
PARKS
Healdsburg Plaza Park – (Matheson Street and Healdsburg Avenue) Turf and park benches, gazebo, focal point of the downtown area: festivals, music; one acre.
Healdsburg Veteran's Memorial Beach - This Regional Park offers a wide beach on the Russian River, with lifeguards on duty every day of the week from 4th of July through Labor Day weekend. The park is open from sunrise to sunset, with lifeguards on duty from 11am - 8pm. A large lawn area offers over 20 picnic areas with BBQ's, and there are restroom and shower facilities available. No alcohol is allowed in the park. Dogs are allowed on the lawn and parking lot areas only, and must be on 6' leash. Day use parking fees are $7 per car. Early arrival on the weekends in encouraged, as the parking lot usually fills up by mid-day. Weekday parking is generally readily available.
Railroad Park– (Front Street) Enjoy the scenery of the river; picnic tables and benches; one acre.
Badger Park – (Off of Heron Drive) Playing fields, senior activity area, tot-lot playground, park benches & picnic tables, pathway along riparian habitat adjacent to Community Garden. Enclosed dog park with water and shade.
Barbieri Brothers Park - 325 Bridle Path. Play equipment for the active group between tots and teens, half-court basketball court, an acre of lawn, and a walking path.
Byron Gibbs Park - 1520 Prentice Drive. Neighborhood playground; turf, play equipment, picnic tables, restrooms; two and one-half acres.
Carson Warner Memorial Skate Park – 15070 Grove Street. Skateboards, in-line skating, (there is no adult supervision at the park).

Giorgi Park – (540 University Street) Play equipment ages 2-15, two lighted tennis courts, parking area, restrooms, and picnic tables; three acres.
Healdsburg Golf Club – (927 South Fitch Mountain Road) Located in the heart of the wine country with the most picturesque views in Healdsburg, Healdsburg Golf Club provides golfers of all skill levels with an enjoyable test of golf. Nine-hole public golf course, driving range, golf shop, snack bar, clubhouse rental, barbecue and picnic area; 60 acres. Phone 707-433-4275 for more information.

Recreation Park – (University and Piper Streets) Lighted baseball/softball, football field; enclosed grandstand, concession stands, restrooms; site of Future Farmers Country Fair in May; four acres.

Villa Chanticleer Complex – Operated by the Community Services Department, these unique City owned buildings are available for public and private groups in the community to rent for weddings, meetings and conferences. Call (707) 431-3301 for information.
Main Villa – The 11,000 square foot Villa is an ideal setting for a large business meeting, community fundraiser, or wedding reception. The capacity is 632.
Villa Annex – 36’ x 64’ building used for various recreation classes with 150 seating capacity. Can accommodate up to 200 for meetings.
Villa Meeting Room – A 20’ x 32’ meeting room. This room can easily accommodate 30 people.
Group Picnic Area – can accommodate up to 300.
Outdoor Wedding Garden – Gazebo, green turf, walkways, landscaping.
1 1/2 acre enclosed dog park with water and shade. Plenty of parking.
Healdsburg High School – (Monte Vista Avenue and University Street). Two lighted ball fields, soccer fields, all-weather running Track, lighted tennis courts and restroom facilities.
