Kick-off the holiday season at the 5th Annual “Holiday Party in Downtown Healdsburg”, scheduled for Friday, November 28 from 5 to 9pm. | December 16, “Winter Celebrations Around the World” - The Healdsburg School’s First Annual Holiday Musical, at the Raven Theater 115 North Street, Healdsburg. "Winter Celebrations Around the World," will take the audience on a musical tour around the world to discover how different cultures celebrate the holiday season including Christmas in Spain, Mexico, Trinidad, France, England, Germany and the United States, as well as Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Chinese New Year and Japanese Shogatsu. The cast of 80 costumed students will perform musical selections in German, Spanish, French, Mandarin and English. Piano and ballet solos will feature four talented young students, in addition to those who narrate and play leading roles. The program was adapted from multiple works and written by Amy Caldwell expressly for The Healdsburg School (THS). Caldwell, the fourth grade teacher at THS, will be assisted by second grade teacher Tina Chase and accompanied by Patricia Kimie and Adam Lieb on piano and guitar respectively. 7 - 8:30 pm.
